Add a column from another table

Hello,

I've two tables: 'Positions' and 'Applicants'. I need to make a new visual table out of the two tables mentioned above. The difficulty here is that I want to combine position[estimatedate] and applicants[joiningdate] into a single column and add a filter to display next month information in the visual table.

I'm new to PowerBI and would appreciate any assistance.

Thanks in advance!

You can use RELATED or LOOKUPVALUE function to create a calculated column in any one of the tables and then you can create another calculated column in the same table using the 2 columns.

Hai @rajulshah ,

Could you please give the reference code so that I can learn how to use DAX expressions?
I'm new to this technology and have just been using PowerBI for two weeks.

@Anonymous , I didn't get you, can you please explain what do you mean by reference code?
