Hello Friends,
I have an embeded Power BI report. In the developer's code, we pass the user's email address as a filter. In looking at the code, it appeard that we could send additional filters. My developer created the code below. We are running into the issue where the 2nd filter argument is not being acted upon...like it is being ignored. How do we get the report to accept the second filter argument?
var filter = [{
$schema: "http://powerbi.com/product/schema#basic",
target: {
table: "st_Tickets",
column: "CustomerEmailAddress"
},
operator: "In",
values: "test@test.test,
filterType: models.FilterType.BasicFilter
}, {
$schema: "http://powerbi.com/product/schema#basic",
target: {
table: "st_Departments",
column: "DepartmentId"
},
operator: "In",
values: [2],
filterType: models.FilterType.BasicFilter
}];
var config = {
type: 'report',
id: embedReportId,
embedUrl: embedUrl,
accessToken: accessToken,
permissions: models.Permissions.All,
tokenType: models.TokenType.Embed,
viewMode: models.ViewMode.View,
filters: filter,
settings: {
filterPaneEnabled: false,
navContentPaneEnabled: true,
}
};
Cheers,
Peter
Going to give it one more chance for help
Any ideas why the second filter is not being accepted?
Cheers!
Any ideas or is this not possible?
