what to do when thare are more than 1000 rows
Hi community,
i have a problem with PowerBI itself and its way of working.
What I can do when I need to expand properties that are not shown in the options to expand due to the limit of 1000 scanned raws??
i do know there are more than those properties to be expanded but are not shown.

Hi, @PedroPascual
When you have more than 1000 rows you are not able to preview all distinct data for a column. However, if you want to get all distinct items in a column first go to the power query editor then select your table that has more than 1000 rows. Click the red-marked area
Then select "Column profiling based on entire dataset"
Now, if you click any column it will show all distinct data.
Here is an example.
When i click "Store Key" column it will give me a list of data, however if the number of data is large it will not show all. To get all you have to click "Load more" and you can preview all distinct data of a column.
Regards
Royel

Hello @PedroPascual ,
This is in Power query and it shows you a sample of your data up to 1000 rows, but when you import your data you can see it in in data view.

Hi @Idrissshatila thanks for your response.
Not you are not correct. this is power Query Editor, and due to the structure or PowerBI I can not see more expanded properties due to the limitation of 1000 raws. I had to manually add a line of DAX in the "advance editor" to expand a property, that I knew was in the Json file.
Have a look the pictures:
The list of properties PowerBI gives me due to the limit:
Property I know is in the Json file but nor appears in the list above:
Result:
the PowerBi limitation of raws to be read causes this problem.
How can be solved?
