Hi experts,
Does Power Automate in Power BI has data limiation when export power bi data to excle file?
Is it possible to export more than 150000 rows of data use Power Automate?
Thank you.
Thanks for confirming @danextian
I tried it practically, what I can see is this is I can not export more than 500,000 rows.
Hi @HKIndia
There's a maximum of 100,000 rows or 1,000,000 values per query (whichever is hit first). https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/rest/api/power-bi/datasets/execute-queries
Power Automate in Power BI does have data limitations when exporting data to an Excel file. Specifically, when you use the Power Automate visual in Power BI to export data to Excel, you might encounter limitations due to both Power BI and Excel constraints.
Here are some important points to consider:
Excel File Limits: Excel files have a row limit of 1,048,576 rows. This means that theoretically, you could export up to this number of rows into a single Excel worksheet.
Power Automate and Power BI Limitations:
Performance Considerations: Exporting a large number of rows (e.g., more than 150,000) can be resource-intensive and may lead to performance issues or timeouts.
