Hi @HKIndia

There's  a maximum of 100,000 rows or 1,000,000 values per query (whichever is hit first). https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/rest/api/power-bi/datasets/execute-queries

Power Automate in Power BI does have data limitations when exporting data to an Excel file. Specifically, when you use the Power Automate visual in Power BI to export data to Excel, you might encounter limitations due to both Power BI and Excel constraints.

Here are some important points to consider:

  1. Excel File Limits: Excel files have a row limit of 1,048,576 rows. This means that theoretically, you could export up to this number of rows into a single Excel worksheet.

  2. Power Automate and Power BI Limitations:

    • Power BI's default export limit for visuals to CSV is 30,000 rows.
    • Using DAX Studio or other external tools might allow you to export larger datasets, but this approach is not directly available within the Power Automate visual.
  3. Performance Considerations: Exporting a large number of rows (e.g., more than 150,000) can be resource-intensive and may lead to performance issues or timeouts.
