waterfall issue

I have daily account balance data and  used the right-click - explain increase / decrease feature on a bar chart and although the suggested explanation is quite good, the waterfall chart does not really help to highlight the main contributors. this is because the list of underlying accounts that define the daily balance are more than 4000. what i want ideally is the waterfall to display max 5 main contributors. is this something we can do by adjusting the ready-made waterfall chart? also how can we make this dynamic so that once one selects the start and end dates the chart adjusts and displays the main contributors for the difference from one day in another.

any help would be greatly appreciated. thank you in advance for your time and support.

Would you please share sample data of your table and post the expected result in waterfall chart? Do mask sensitive data before uploading sample data.
