values show in column in query editor but values don't show in data view

I used the Power Query Editor to prepare the data I imported and all the data I needed showed in the Editor.  I then selected close and apply and went to the data view.  I have a column for the supervisor's name which was populated with values when I was viewing in the editor, but now in data view, the field is blank in every row. What would cause this? My first thought was table relationships but they look correct.

Hi @tadcock,

"but now in data view, the field is blank in every row"

Did values become blank in table view or in report visual? Could you please show us a screenshot?

Did this behavior occur to specific field or all fields?

Regards,

Yuliana Gu

Is there any solution for this...?  I have the same issue, and what was proposed as a solution (check relationships and joins etc) wouldn't apply, as I'm not doing any of that with this table.

The column is just suddenly empty. It is both in the data/table view and in the visuals. It concerns only 2 columns.

Hi - Have you checked that the data type are the same for the columns you are joining on. Actually has a similar situation today and that was the reason for the blank values.
