using year and quarter to sort

Hello,

I have two columns that I want to combine and sort with them (year and quarter):

But if I use the combine column in my visual and try to sort with it i does not sort by year and quarter but only by the quarter like this:

So I already tried to create a column with the date from both year and quarter like 1.X.2020 but I do not know how to use this column or a hierarchy of that to use as filter.

Is it also possible to rename the output that i can use from a hierarchy - right now it is called "Quartl X" (German version) and i would like to change it o just Q1 or even combine with the year and have an output like above 1/2020 etc...

@lukerlGHE , for Qtr sort you need to create a qtr sort column

new column in your date table

Qtr sort = format([Date],"YYYYQ")

The mark this as the dort column of qtr

Hi @lukerlGHE

You can create new column with integer format - sth like 202004 - thanks to this you can sort desc or asc. 

Next select text column (expected delivery) and choose from the ribbon option: Sort by Column and choose this integer column.

Thanks to this you can use this expected delivery column to sort in the visual.
