Hello everyone!
I'm working with a base that has a column called "ID", where "ID" is repeated in some rows.
I have another base where there are only unique "ID" and they bring two columns : "Category" and "Description". The point is, I have to move the Category and Description to the first base. I was pennating on using power bi's "lookupvalue power BI" function.
The thing is, when I do, it works for me, but there are blank categories. Which shouldn't happen because there's no empty one from the base I took the categories from.
Please help with tips on which function to use or other method to get data from other columns from another base
Hi @CLCastroEn ,
Since there is no sample data, I don't know why, maybe you have added multiple conditions to the LOOKUPVALUE() function.
Please refer to my .pbix file.

@CLCastroEn , Can you share sample data and sample output in table format? Or a sample pbix after removing sensitive data.
You can use lookupvalue. Refer for example -https://www.sqlbi.com/articles/introducing-lookupvalue/
In my video, I discussed three technique to move data from one table to another: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=czNHt7UXIe8
