I have a column with rows Jan, Feb, Mar, etc. When I visualize in line and stacked column it is sorting Dec, Nov, etc from left.
This must be a simple one! Not sure why it is sorting Dec-Jan instead of Jan-Dec left to right.
Jan is text row 1, Feb is text row 2, etc..
Thanks.
Thanks that helped I sorted the chart area by ascending it put the stacked column (Mar-Dec) in correct order left to right.
However it left the unstacked column months of Jan-Feb in reverse order.
Link states may need to manipulate the source data.
I have the months as text not values, would it be better to change the text to date format or key off another column like Jan=1, Feb=2, etc?
