I have a bar chart with dynamic values chosen from a field parameter. I want to highlight the maximum and the minimum using the parameter selected. I did it with no issues.
The problem is this: when I apply any slicer the values changes correctly, the new max bar is highlighted, but the old max stays highlighted (this also occurs with the minimum).
I thought the problem was with my measure, so I put it on the label of the bars and also applied it to the color of the labels. And it shows that the measure is working, as you can see in the image below; the second bar with the label #4896F is still red. Also, the 7th bar is still green, and it should be blue

Does anyone ever saw something like that?

Hi @aleksvp,

Thank you @vojtechsima  and @GeraldGEmerick for your support with this issue.
The problem seems to stem from a rendering limitation in Power BI visuals when conditional formatting is used on a measure driven by Field Parameters. While the measure itself recalculates correctly, shown by the updated label colors, the bar fill color does not update after using the slicer, which suggests the visual is keeping cached formatting from before. To address this, try wrapping the color logic in a SELECTEDVALUE() function that references the parameter table, as this can help ensure the formatting updates dynamically.
If the issue continues after completing these checks, please submit a report via the Power BI Issues forum. This will allow the product engineering team to review and investigate the matter further.

Hey, @aleksvp ,

Perhaps it could be because of the way you selected the values from field parameters, perhaps the old selection still persists. You can try using Single Value or Force Selection. Also, to test it, I would allow multiple selections, and then always deselect existing and only then choose a new one.
Also, make sure that you measure correctly, ignore all displayed dimensions (the AC, AL, ... column)

Any kudos or recognition appreciated. To learn more on the topic, check out my blog and follow me on LinkedIn.

I've tried all the possibilities you mention and it is the same behavor.
Anyway, since it works with the labels (and its colors), I'm guessing it is a Power BI bug.

@aleksvp Any chance you can share the pbix file or some sample data and your measure formulas? Would really like to try to recreate this. Seems like perhaps a bug with field parameters?
