unable to sort by year and month

Hi I am unable to sort by both year and month

i have for example a report which has April 2016 to April 2017 as part of a rolling chart

However when i try and produce may 2016 to may 2017, it just shows may

when i try to sort on year and month, it only shows month as the sort.

The reports appear to be the same.

Can you please help

Thanks

How i want it to lookHow i want it to look2017-05-02_13-15-05.jpg

@cwstad my guess is you had something set in the previous visual, or there was some hook if you changed visual types or something like that. Can't say for sure.

@cwstad You would need a date table to include a year-month column. Similiar to the examples given in this post. Then if need be, add an additional sort column, but that may not be necessary.

Hi Eno, the odd thing is it works on one of the pages but not the subsequent ones i have created, same data set.

Any ideas?

@cwstad huh. Try to just copy and paste the visual from one page to the other than. Or duplicate the page and make any alterations. Is there possibly a setting you changed on the report page?..

Hi Eno, it works if i duplictae the graph and change the fields

Any idea why this may be?

Thanks
