text column values encoding issue

..I use postgres data source for report creation from odbc...In connection string postgres Unicode driver class is used...i used text column for report creation. While taking data from database, column values are not showing correctly as expected...Ex...suppose value is David[Inactive] in database means after loading in power bi desktop it showing like David[INACTIVE]...Which is incorrect...Is there any way to get correct value ?

That has nothing to do with Unicode. It has to do with the fact that Power Query is case sensitve but Power BI is not.  Your source data likely has both spellings, ad Power BI is randompy picking one of them and then grouping all value variations under it.

You can "fix" it by applying an appropriate transform in Power Query.
