text box not showing alternative text of measure

Dear Team,

I'm able to show slicer selection in a card visual with following measure

VAR VarSelectedValue = SELECTEDVALUE('d Item Master'[Production.Possible])

Return

SWITCH(True(),

VarSelectedValue = "Production", "Production",

VarSelectedValue = "Purchase", "Purchase",

"All Products"

)

However I cannot implement the measure in a textbox. 
It is only working when I change the Result value in switch function from text to numeric value. 

Any ideas how I can dynamically show the slicer selection in a textbox including an alternative text when nothing is selected ?

Hi v-cgao-msft,

In card visual my measures with text subtitle works fine but in text box or smart narrative visual not working. Have any idea why this is happening?

Please consider using Smart Narrative Visual. Just put the name of the measure in the box for how to calculate the value.
