It's possible- and really easy!

Assuming you have a pivot table\ chart on sheet 1 and another on sheet 2 and you want to slice by [Year]

  1. On sheet 1, under the PivotTable menu, select "insert slicer" and pick the slicer on [Year]
  2.  Slice to the year you wish
  3. On sheet 2, under the PivotTable menu, select "insert slicer" and pick the slicer on [Year]
  4. On sheet 2, under the PivotTable menu, select "filter connections"
  5. Tick the slicer in sheet 1

Your slicers are now synced.Sync the slicer on the other sheetSync the slicer on the other sheetAdding a slicer and syncingAdding a slicer and syncing
