hi there,
The below "PAT% format" result is -1.#IND, it is quite strange. The PAT new and Sales new=0, I thought the result should be "na", how to adjust the formula to get the "na" result? thanks
PAT% new = [PAT new]/[Sales new]
PAT% format = iferror(if(OR([PAT% new]>9.99,[PAT% new]<-9.99),"nm",if([PAT% new]<0,FORMAT(-[PAT% new],"(0.0%)"),FORMAT([PAT% new],"0.0%"))),"na")
result=> -1.#IND
Best regards,
ER
HI @erihsehc,
Maybe you can try to use below formula:
PAT% format =
var _value=VALUE([PAT% new])
Return
IFERROR (
IF (
OR ( _value > 9.99, _value < -9.99 ),
"nm",
IF (
_value < 0,
FORMAT ( ABS(_value), "(0.0%)" ),
FORMAT (_value, "0.0%" )
)
),
"na"
)
If above not help, can you please provide more detail info ? (e.g: which type of calculation you used, measure or calculated column? datasource type...)
Regards,
Xiaoxin Sheng
