is anyone using source control for power bi and if so how/ where?
Also is there any versioning control?

This provides 'proper' version control across a team (i.e. you can do merges and diffs etc.). The UI hasn't been started and it's not battle tested, but it does work on the ones I've tried. Feel free to submit some PRs!

I have used Git also for this pupose and it works fine.

You can use One Drive to keep track of your latest pbix file as it maintains version history on its own.

i know many people are using one drive/sharepoint etc. what i am curious about is if it maintains version control.
