I checked my data with dax viewr. there no duplicate values.
Issue is with Power BI April24 desktop release.
For same dataset in March24 desktop release I am not facing any issue.

Do you have the same number of distinctcount output for those two rows? In order to sort the column by another column, this has to be the case.

In order to use the sort by column, your sort by column should have the same number of unique values as the sorted column, so that there's no ambiguity when sorting.

there is no ambiquity when sorting. i checked data with dax query view
