My clustered column chart has a max y axis value of 1.0 which actually represents 100%. I just noticed that when i decreased the font size of the y axis data labels, the data labels for the columns whose value is 1.0 disappeared. But remained for all the columns whose value isnt 1.0. Is this a bug?
Hi @db042190,
According to your description above, I have tested it on my environment. However, I was not able to reproduce the same issue.
Could you post some screenshots and share a sample pbix(with just some sample/mock data) which can reproduce the issue? So that we can help further investigate on it. You can upload it to OneDrive or Dropbox and post the link here. Do mask sensitive data before uploading. ![]()

I'll put something together when time permits but it occured when i switched from font size 9 aerial to 8 aerial. Here is part of the display. The datasource is tabular model.
here is some additional info...not showing with lighter columns proving its not just black disappearing in dark blue for font 8, same bar density showing with font 9 , font 8 showing with fewer bars. It looks like maybe its a bar density issue related to smaller font.
not showing lighter font 8
showing font 9
showing font 8 fewer bars
Hi @db042190,
Thanks for the detailed explanation. However, I still cannot reproduce the same issue on my environment.
What version of Power BI Desktop are you using? Could you share a sample pbix file(with just some sample/mock data) which can reproduce the issue? ![]()

We are on 2.48.4792.481 64-bit. It will be a little while before i can share more because my higher priority is to get an employee hierarchy to work with drill down.
