slicer selecting Blank instead of 1

Hi 
I have this table : 

and a slicer feeding from the above table.

When I select Current Month, the slicer shows a blank value but when I select Current Quarter it selects the right value. 
How do I make sure it selects the right value and doesnt return a blank.

Hi @SeanB004, I've tried to replicate your issue but everything works fine:

My suggestions would be the following:

• Verify that you don't have any "visual level filters" on Card Visual
• Replicate the same scenario in new PowerBI Desktop file. If it works well, there is some issue in your *.pbix file
• Delete both visuals and add them to canvas again: first on a new page and then to the same one. In such way you can better identify where the issue comes from.
