showing line graph for shift times

Hi all,

Really hoping someone may be able to help, I have a large amount of data showing shifts delivered across multiple locations, each row of the data includes the location id (unique), the employee id (unique), start time, end time, hours covered.

The challenge I have is, that I need to be able to show a lline graph which will show the hours 00:00, through to 23:00. The graph needs to show how many shifts were covering each of the hours in total, but then also allow filtering by location. This is required as I need to overlay event information (which has been quite easy to achieve using the hour function).

I have so far tried to add 24 columns showing a value of 1 if the times are in the range, meaning I have 24 calculated columns where the sum of each show the number of shifts, however using these to turn into a line graph as required is proving an issue.

@mitieterry,

Could you please share dummy data of your table and post expected result in table format?

Regards,
Lydia
