show the value with in limit or show the maximum value if after the limit

I have 2 columns ID and value out of which i want only those id whoes value is less than 4 and if value is 4 or greater than 4 then only show id and value of maximum one

show_value =

var select_value = SELECTEDVALUE(value column)

var select_ID = SELECTEDID(ID column)

return IF(MAXX(FILTER(table, ID column = select_ID),value colum)>=4,MAXX(FILTER(table, ID column = select_ID),select_value)

Hi, modifiy a bit

var select_value = SELECTEDVALUE(value column)

var select_ID = SELECTEDVALUE(ID column)

return IF(MAXX(FILTER(table, ID column = select_ID),value colum)>=4,MAXX(FILTER(table, ID column = select_ID),select_value)

if still not, can you share screen of error.
