selecting two groups and counting (showing) the values in common

Hello,

I want to solve the following problem: I have data belonging to different groups. The groups are stored in one column the data in another. Now I want to show in an report the amount of data two specific groups have in common. In the best case I become a table of these hits if I click on the number in the report.

Best regards

Wbart

Hi, @wbart

I'm still not sure what you want to achieve.

Could you please consdier sharing more details about it and posting expected result so it is clear on what needs to be implemented?  And It would be great if there is a sample file without any sesentive information here.

Hello #amitchandak,

the data table looks like this:

The groups are defined  with the column Tonic Comp. There are several differently named entries.  I'm interested in whitch geneSymbols (on the left) appears in two selected groups simultanously.

Best regards
