Hi guys! I need help with Data Connection in Power BI.
In my actual job we where using Report Builder to build some management reports. Since we are trying to update our reports to BI, I need to connect the database we use to build new reports.
The database is a .rsds file which I can't find the option to connect it to BI.
Can someone help me?
Thanks!

Unless I am mistaken, an rsds file is a shared data source connection file. It's just a file that points to the actual location of the data. You would point Power BI to the actual location of the data instead of using the rsds file.

Yes Greg, indeed.
I managed to get the actual database to connect the Power BI with that SQL Database.
Thank you for your message!
Hi,
I am encountering the same issue, and I read you solved yours. Could you share the steps you followed to connect your database SQL database to Power BI?
I am on Power BI Report Server.
Thanks,
