Hey!
Here's what I have tried:
What works:
I am not able to navigate myself through the cause for this error. It would be absolutely helpful of you to guide me on where I am going wrong?
Does the cluster need any exclusive permission/access to query using Power BI? My user has full access to this cluster, database and tables.
Thanks in advance!
Hi @Noureen ,
This may be a memory issue. Please set aside enough memory to run Power BI, and try to reinstall the latest version of Power BI Desktop.
Download Microsoft Power BI Desktop from Official Microsoft Download Center
Try changing the maximum cache size in the options

Hey!
I have the latest version of PBI Desktop installed and reinstalled it, in fact.
I updated the size limits to numbers suggested but they default back to these when saved:
After this process, I still encounter the same error as posted before:
"We reached the end of the buffer."
Is there any other workaround to this?
Would really appreciate your help in this!
@v-henryk-mstf The three options mentioned on one of your solutions, with regards to Unable to connect to Azure Data explorer from Power BI Desktop do not work out for this issue. I have also tried to clear permissions and then reconnected. I was still not able to connect to the data source. Do you have any suggestions on how to tread further?
