"Text Filter" Visual from marketplace doesnt work "Too many Values"

Getting a "Too many Values" error with a column im using. 

 

Its a numeric field i've switched to text.

 

I have less then 2000 rows of data however so this doesnt make sense at all.

"Text Filter" Visual is limited to 1000 values for now, and it had been submitted to developers.

and refer to this post by V-evelk:

"The developers answered that they will increase the limit in the next release"

"The visual team is going to publish changes at the end of this week, then it requires 2-3 weeks to deliever release on prod."
