"Retry limit exceeded" error while loading from Azure Data Bricks SQL Endpoint

Hi community,

I am trying to load data from Azure Data Bricks SQL Endpoint. The connection can be successfully established and data can be loaded in the Power Query for a preview. When I click "Apply and Close", load starts, but breaks after ca. 3 millions of rows are loaded with the following error: "Failed to save modifications to the server. Error returned: 'OLE DB or ODBC error: [DataSource.Error] ERROR [HY000] [Microsoft][Hardy] (35) Error from server: error code: '0' error message: 'Unable to continue fetch after reconnect. Retry limit exceeded.'" In total each tables has row count in two-digit million range (and one 120M+). I have tried loading tables one-by-one with no good result. Most of the solutions I could google are not helpful either - e.g. clearing permissions or fixing relations (there are no relations in the model yet). The tables can be however easily queried on the Databricks side and we run a large cluster for the SQL endpoint.

I am having the same issue, in order to reproduce it, just connect to a table in DataBricks and try to import a dataset above 120 mill records. It gives each time and limit error with zero information to resolution.
