I am seeing a company that has the odoo api but when making the gateway I do not see the list of data sources since it is new but I have it installed on my machine and I connect url and access to the odoo bases but my reports are not updated when I share them with other users because of the configurationS I mentioned at the beginning, what should I do to solve such a problem please
the connector is installed on the pc that has the power bi license but when we share the reports with pc that does not have a power bi license you do not find the gateway because the data source of that api is not there and we who have power bi and the pc installed connector do it by url us with token, I could explain more in detail what I am considering for the cluster of the gateway please
If you use a custom connector then that needs to be installed on all gateway cluster members.
Use custom data connectors with the on-premises data gateway - Power BI | Microsoft Docs
we have done that but our reports connect to a base that is in the cloud there is nothing local more than the pc and odoo api that we connect by url you would be so kind to support us and connect anydesk to our server and show us how there was such a connection
As you can imagine it is nearly impossible to assist with a custom API issue without having access to that API. I don't think I can help further.
How do you connect to odoo from your Power BI desktop? Do you use a standard Web.Contents() call or do you use a custom connector? If you use a custom connector then that connector must be installed on all gateway cluster members.
