problem with logging into Microsoft Azure Database for PostgreSQL, authentication the credentials

Hi PBI community,

I need an urgent help / support.

today, suddenly I faced the issue witj connection to Microsoft Azure Database for Postgresql, no upgrades, no changes, nothign has been done since yesterday, but today I face such an issue on mu Pober BI desktop version.

In my opinion nothing happend on the Azure side, I still have an access to database using e.g. dBeaver, but cannot connect my reports developed in PBI.

I need help, I can't work!!! it is so frustrating.

Yesterday it worked, today doesnt!

you're are my last resort!

regards

Konrad

Hi All,

I wanted to share the solution with you because I finally figured it out myself!

I simply uninstalled and reinstalled PBI—an old but still effective solution from Microsoft.

A bit about my background: I'm quite seasoned in the tech field. Back in the mid-'90s, I set up PCs with x386 and x486 processors, not to mention a DDR of 40 GB, and so on. I remember using Windows 95 (and even 3.11!), Excel 4.0, and Access 2.0. These experiences reminded me that sometimes, if something doesn’t work and you can’t find a solution, the best approach might just be to uninstall and reinstall.

Wishing you all the best, and remember this advice!

I’ve resolved the issue now.

Regards,

Konrad

P.S. Maybe a bit sarcastic, but hey, problem solved! 😉
