percent change

Hello,

Could use some help in creating a measure that will properly compute the percent change for the table below.

As you can see, I'm having a problem computing accurate percentages and would appreciate any help I can get.

Thank you very much

@iskruger are you looking for the % change between the years or between the stores compared to the total?

I'm looking for the percent change between the years. However, there are situations when a location has no reported sales in the previous year because those location(s) weren't opened then. Additionally, I was trying to figure out how to calculate the Total percent change for stores opened both years.

Thank you.

Hello, I believe this will help you:

Growth % = (DIVIDE(SUM(This Year),SUM(Last Year))-1)*100

P.S.: You can skip multiplying it by 100 and just format it as a percentage from the Modeling tab.

Hi Birdjo,

Thank you very much!

Btw I think you chose your own post as a solution.
