.pbix file to test new themes (all visuals inside)

Hi all,

Happy new year. Hope you'll have a better 2021 than 2020 was !

I shall developp a theme for all all the reports within my organization, to share an identity and to have an homogeneity between all the reports builds by everyone.

Do you have somewhere a .pbix file, with fake data and almost all the comon visuals inside, to help developp the theme and see immediatly the impacts on all kind of visuals ?

I could built one, of course. But I think somebody may already have one to share, with the appropriate data, adapted to each of the visuals.

Thanks in advance !

Nico.

@NicoLemarchand , You can get sample pbixs from by github account

https://github.com/amitchandakpbi/powerbi

See if they can work for you, But most these are for training purpose, might not have all visuals

I think it wasn't clear. I apologize.

Maybe my english is as blur than my mind on this new year !

I just need a pbix file, with some data and all the visuals inside, to test on the fly the theme I'll build.

I can use some .pbix reports I already have, but they don't show all visuals and are not "clean".

I guess evryone that have created a theme may have a test report with some fake data to see how it looks.

@NicoLemarchand , did you try to save it as a template? Then others could use such a template with customed theme.

Thanks to the great efforts by MS engineers to simplify syntax of DAX! Most beginners are SUCCESSFULLY MISLED to think that they could easily master DAX; but it turns out that the intricacy of the most frequently used RANKX() is still way beyond their comprehension!

DAX is simple, but NOT EASY!

@NicoLemarchand , Not bit clear on this. But you can create a power bi template and make sure all project start with that

Hi @amitchandak

Yes but the point is to have a power bi file that is representative of all kind of visuals that can be used, to build a theme adapted to all visuals.

the way to build a theme is not an issue. The important point is to be sure it's well customized for all the future uses of my comunity.
