open blank email from power bi

Hi,

I'm building a report which wil be used by lots of differen users.

I want to add a button or something that says something like 'Any Questions?' and on clicking the button a blank outlook email will open with my email address in it as the recipient.

Is this possible to do in Power BI?

Well I've found out how to do exactly what I wanted by googling

I created a text box and linked the text to:

mailto://myemail@xxx.com?subject=KPI data query

When you click on it it'll open a blank email with KPI data query in the email subject line.

Great to hear you found a solution that works perfectly for your needs!

Using a mailto: link is a simple yet effective way to let users contact you directly from a Power BI report, with pre-filled subject or body text ideal for widely shared or stakeholder-facing dashboards.

Not really. Think you are trying to overcomplicate things, when you could could just provide a email address on the footer of the report
