older version of powerbi desktop - sept 2020

Good day guys,

We inherited some report in our product line that was created with powerbi desktop 2.85.985.0 64-bit (september 2020)

thus I now need to find an installer for this particular version of powerbi desktop

I've visited https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/fundamentals/desktop-latest-update-archive?tabs=powerbi-de... but the download link for the September 2020 is not there anymore

Not sure if any one in the forum have a copy of the September 2020 desktop installer that they can share?

Here is the installation file for the September 2020 version.

The old version of the file is for testing purposes only., it is recommended to install the latest version of Power BI desktop.
The link above will expire after some time.

Tqvm for prompt response, sad to say I've actually tried that link also (in an isolated vm to virus scan)

After i download and install, it is actually the installer of latest version

I later check the download link to be directly linked to the latest version download link from microsft - https://download.microsoft.com/download/8/8/0/880BCA75-79DD-466A-927D-1ABF1F5454B0/PBIDesktopSetup_x...(this is link for latest version I believe)

PS: might help others looking for older versions, they use to have similar download link path with dated filenames, e.g.:

- https://download.microsoft.com/download/8/8/0/880BCA75-79DD-466A-927D-1ABF1F5454B0/PBIDesktopSetup-2...

I tried the same path for PBIDesktopSetup-2020-09_x64.exe (I was told it was working a while before) but the file is not available anymore sadly

so am still continueing my search
