Hi there,
I'm looking for a way to have my duration have a percentage of total displayed on a card.
I then need this % to be able to be interacted with by other visuals, being able to see what percentage of the total whatever is selected makes up.
The column I want this for is Duration (Mostly either 0.5, 1 or 2). I've tried a few Dax soloutions but none have worked for me.
And then there is 'show value as percentage of grand total' which shows as a percentage but is not interactive?
Any help with this would be greatly appreciated!
(Also, a really simply way to do this should be a part of powerbi...)
@JordanJackson , Assume if measure [M1]
then % of total measure
M1 % of total = divide([M1], calculate([M1], allselected() ) )
should be interactive
And below one should not interact
M1 % of total = divide([M1], calculate([M1], all () ) )
In order to have it as a measure, do I just have it as:
DurationMeasure = Sum('Training Categories [Duration])
Is this the right way to have it as the measure for this?
@JordanJackson , Yes, I think so. You can use sum('Training Categories [Duration]) in place of [Measure]
