Hello,
i sure that's is a "basic" problem, but i dont find a solution via Search funtion in this forum.
I'm very new to this topics so please be kind...
I want to filter both Tables for the Place of birth via a relationship by the Identfier.
It works fine for Identfier_new to Identifier relationship - but i also want a query for Identifier_old.
The workflow should be -> if Identifier_new unequal Identifier look for Identifier_old = Identifier.
My Idea was to merge both Columns (Identifier_old & Identifier_new) with Concatenate function.
For the Example : New York - 28479 98323 - unequal 98323 - Susan
Is there a way to define the relationship - "Contains" instead of 1:1 ?
Table 1
| Name | Identifier |
| Charlie | 12345 |
| Susann | 98323 |
Table 2
| Place of birth | Identifier_new | Identifier_old |
| New Jersey | 12345 | XALOE |
| New York | 28479 | 98323 |

Hi @Florex ,
Please have a try.
Create relationship beweet the tables.
Then create a measure.
Measure = MAX(Table2[Place of birth]) &"-"& MAX(Table2[Identifier_new])&" "&MAX(Table2[Identifier_old])&"- unequal" &" "&MAX(Table1[Name])&" "&MAX(Table1[Identifier])
