measure error msg - ??

I dont understand the following two err msgs when I try to create a measure.

 

 

What do these error msg mean?  And this is a VERY difficullt UI.meas_err1.jpg It has taken me 10 minutes to get these two images into here.

I figured out my problem, I was accidentially creating a "measure" when I ment to add a new column.
