Hi,
I'm trying to mock up a copy of a pivot table or tableau table, in pbi desktop, so I can share on sharepoint.
I think matrix it the right way to get multi-level hierarchy of data, right?
when I add multiple columns I'm able to hit the drilldown thing at the top of the page and see multiple hierarchy levels.
where is this button for rows, I can only see one hierarchy level at a time...
why on earth is the table not showing the table hierarchy by default? hiding the fields --- are viewers supposed to just guess what data is in the table? hahah what is the point of visualizing information if you don't know what it is?
thanks,
s

Ah - turn off stepped levels, right click the data, expand all.
Strongly recommend making this default, crazy that hiding information labels is the status quo of a multi-index table, comically bad and behind tableau / pivot tables in terms of being intuitive
