i have a map visual which shows total europe map where my details represents different places across ireland i.e east wall, balymun etc..
i have enabled map visual in options aswell

@lbendlin is right, you can assign data categories to help Power BI locate.
Also, I have encountered before when using city names or state or location name in map, it goes to other location because of name similarities.
Better if you have the Latitude and Longitude also. It helps.
