make x-axis zoom of one chart control x axis/axes zoom(s) of other chart(s)

A common need for us is to have multiple stacked timeseries charts (each with datetime on its x-axis, and one or more parameters on its y-axis/axes).

When viewing the data, a basic functionality is to zoom in on a subset of the x-axis, to see a portion of the record during a specific date range.

With a series of stacked charts, it is inconvenient to have different zoom of each x-axis, because what is of interest is the relationship between the same temporal subsets of the curves, in the two frames :

It would be very helpful to be able to manually adjust the x-axis zoom level of the lowermost chart, and have the other chart(s) above it automatically respond with the same zoom level of its/their x axis/axes.

Can this be done in Power BI? A way to dynamically 'link' the manually adjustable zoom level of the x-axis in one chart to automatically control the zoom level of the x-axis in an adjacent chart?

An example can be seen at https://dashboard.waterdata.usgs.gov/api/gwis/2.1/service/site?agencyCode=USGS&siteNumber=011008745&... -- when you first load it in your browser, only one chart will be visible. Open the second chart below it, then adjust the zoom slider control in either of the frames and the other one will automatically also adjust to match:

If you open additional frames they all are controlled similarly.

Use Small Multiples rather than separate charts.

I wonder if what I need is to combine or merge two charts in a single visual, and if so maybe Charticulator is a tool that can do it?

I looked in to this. But I need to have different y-axes in each frame, and I don't think Small Multiples is capable of that. Is it?

in fact it is capable of that.

Thank you @lbendlin, I will work on getting that to work.
