I see the option for line tpye is missing from the format category for the line graph. Could you please support how this can be fixed? As I have serveral data points in the graph and I want few data points to have smooth lines.

The option hasn't disappeared, it has simply always existed at the graph level, not the line level.
If your request is a different type on line level we don't have this functionality, you can suggest it as idea here :

Thanks for the feedback in your line graph I see 1 stepped and 1 smooth line for 2 respective data points. Could you please provide information how this was achieved when I try to select all it changes all the data points into same line format unable to achieve the above.

I apologize for not being clear enough in my previous response.
It is not possible to define a different line type for each line individually. This functionality is only available at the level of all lines.
If this does not meet your needs, you can suggest the desired change as an idea in the link I attached earlier.
The lines look like they do in the image simply because that is probably what results from the values that are there.
