@Anonymous , You have used Call Closed date hierarchy and removed everything other than a month (Yea, Qtr, Day) . So when you select a month you will only get 1 point for the month

Hi @Anonymous ,

If you selecet  one month in slicer, it will behavior like that. It will filter the line chart to show the data in the month you selected in slicer. Please try to edit Interactions between slicer and line chart to cancel slicer's filter on line chart. For more details, please refer to https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/create-reports/service-reports-visual-interactions

@Anonymous

that's the expected behaviour when using a slicer: it will filter the rows in the dataset to show the selection in the slicer. So, if you choose a month, you will see the values for that month only.

if you wish to see a different depiction, can you please provide a visual example of what you wish to see? (And a sample dataset to play with...)

@Anonymous In your chart, currently you have only one data for the month of Dec. When you have multiple data in x-axis then only you will be able to have the line. with one data point you will get only data point onthe chart
