i want to understand the purpose of below layout option in data model in layman language, i am not sure what is the use of layouts, would be better to understand with example
Hi @powerbiexpert22 -In Power BI, the Layout Options in the data model view refer to how tables and relationships are visually arranged in the Data Model view. This layout doesn't change how the data functions or interacts.
It easier to see the relationships between tables. For example, you can visually group related tables together, making it clear which tables are connected and how data flows between them.
if you are working on a very huge data model, it helps to troubleshoot issues or update your model, a clear layout helps you quickly find and understand the relationships and dependencies between tables on new layout
If you are share your Power BI file with others teammembers, a neat layout helps to others understand the data model without needing detailed explanations by created a related tables model layout
The purpose of arranging tables in a data model is to provide a clear, understandable view of how data is organized and related.it is like a structured layout way we can understand the connection to each and every other tables.
