I have table with column 'owner'.
I need to make 'index' which is incremented if the owner is equal to 'G' :
owner ... index
G 1
S 1
G 2

G 3

I think you need to add an original sort index column to let the formula loop through the table.
Below is the sample.
Original table:
Write calculated column to calculate index based on id.
Index = COUNTROWS(FILTER(ALL('Sample'),[ID]<=EARLIER([ID])&&[Owner]="G"))+0
Result:
