how to use api in power bi and how to refresh this automatically

Hi ,

Im new to use Web API,so need experts help.

I have to use the Web API's instead of sql direct query connection to create the reports.I know i can give the API URL in PBI desktop but how to refresh this automatically in Power BI Cloud.

Or is there any way to add the API in powerbi.com directly as i can see API access info with Dataset refresh.

For how to refresh the api in Power BI Service, you could have a referce of this blog Announcing Data Refresh APIs in the Power BI Service.

In addition, the API access show in Power BI Service is not the api you think that is for Power BI API Access when push data .
