I would like to use a field value as a tooltip when hovering over a column in a table. For example, I have a Title field and a Description field (which can be quite large). I would like to drag the tiitle to the table to show the column name and on tooltip I would like to show the description. Is this possible?
Like I have 10 columns, on mouse hover of each column it should show it's description.
@GuyInACube YOOOooo!
Hello Adam, I hope you can help shed light on this topic. I found a cursory instruction in your video here at the 1:15 mark, but did not find enough detail to ensure this goes off right. Also it would be super helpful to consider both tables and matrices (my visual happens to be a matrix).
Long time listener, first time caller here!
Many thanks in advance. I love your work.
You can add a Button on top of the column and set the Action to Page Navigation and Destination to None. Under Tooltip you can enter the column description or choose the Description field from the conditional formating option.
This solution is fine for static tables. But if it requires scrolling and the placement of column names changes, then it breaks.
