how to get totals in calc groups

Hi,

I have created a calculation group but the totals that come automatically do not appear to give a total column for the end of each year. It only gives a total after the end of each column header. For example, in the matrix visual below I want a total after dec-24 but before Jan-25.

However, the only time I get totals is when the metric changes from Revenue to IB.

Does anyone know how to get totals appear for each year?

This is my formula for the calculation item:

IF (
    SELECTEDVALUE ( 'IFC'[Metric] ) = "Revenue",
    [Revenue From TradesPlus],
    [IB Paid From IBCommsFinal]
)

Thanks,

hi @mp390988

If the goal is to move the measure to a higher level in the hierarchy and a disconnected table/column like 'IFC'[Metric] is already in place, there’s really no need to use a calculation group. The formula can simply be written as a regular measure since it doesn’t apply any reusable logic to other measures — it just returns specific ones directly.
