how to create a timeline only showing years

Hi! I want to create a timeline ( more likely a slider) showing years, but it didn't work when i used the Timeline visual. I have a column showing years, but Power Bi couldn't recognize year format. Does anyone know how to create a timeline like below only showing years?

First, check that your "Year" column is 'Number' data type (i.e. whole number).

Next, place a slicer on your visual and use that Year column.  By default, Power BI will make it a "Between" slicer. It will include text boxes for the start and end year, with a slider bar at the bottom.

Thank you for your answer. I created this one, but it doesn't look good in the whole dashboard. I wonder if it's possible to create a similar one like the one i attached.

The one you have attached is a custom visual.  If you have the necessary technical experience, you could attempt to create it.  My suggestion was based on using the 'out of the box' functions provided by Microsoft.
