Hello,
I have a dataset that looks like this:
| Client ID | Event Attended |
| 123456 | councelling |
| 123456 | job search |
| 123456 | job search |
| 123456 | resume help |
| 123456 | resume help |
| 123456 | resume help |
| 123456 | career advice |
| 123456 | career advice |
as you can see, the client has attended 4 events how can I make this dataset to look like this:
| Client ID | Event Attended | Distinct number of events |
| 123456 | councelling | 4 |
| 123456 | job search | 4 |
| 123456 | job search | 4 |
| 123456 | resume help | 4 |
| 123456 | resume help | 4 |
| 123456 | resume help | 4 |
| 123456 | career advice | 4 |
| 123456 | career advice | 4 |
I tried the COUNTROW function but it counts the duplicate events too (note: I do not want to delete the duplicate events since the date attended is different for each event)
thank you

@OPS-MLTSD try this measure
Distinct Event Count =
CALCULATE ( DISTINCTCOUNT ( YourTable[Event Attended] ), ALLEXCEPT ( YourTable, YourTable[Client] ) )
