hi i am using redshift with direct query option to create report
but now when i am trying to change DB name from query window
i am getting this error -
failed to save modifications to the server . error returned : all partitons using directquery mode with full dataview must query the same data source
any suggestion to solve this issue .
Hi dilip,
Based on your description, are you change your data model in query editor and after clicking "closed&applied" the error happends, right? If it is In this senario, you should remove all of the old report in report level and try again. If it isn't in this senario, please empty the datasource connections and connect to redshift database again.

Jimmy Tao
do you mean deleting all the pbix file ?
Hi dilip,
You don't need to delete PBIX file. What should be deleted is the chart which contains fields in old datasource in the report level. In addtion, if this error still happens, open advanced editor and modify the new datasource name and the related tables.
Hope this is helpful to you.
