I want to divide a measure total hours ( month) by the number of weeks ( build table) see below
I have the total hours but for the number of weeks i have built a table and each month i have specified the number of week
= Total hours/ number of weeks
Hi @Anonymous ,
Did you try a measure like the following one?
Division =
DIVIDE(
[Total Hours],
MAX( Table[Number of weeks] )
)where [Total hours] is your measure already created.
Then you can add this new measure to a visual with months as a dimension.
Please mark my answer as a solution if I answered your question.

hi @Alf94 ,
below is the table that i am presenting. I have the actual hours for the month ( measure)
I need to calculate the Actual FTE, for now i am doing it manual calculation in excel.
I need to divide the = actual hours / by number of weeks
for example January I have 5 weeks in my calendar but february its 4 weeks
for January = Actual hours / 5 ( which represents number of weeks)
Februay = Actual hours / 4 ( which represents number of weeks)
Hi @Alf94 ,
it works for January but not the other months because it is always choosing the max ( 5 weeks in stead of 4 weeks)
@Anonymous,
Sorry about this, could you explain a bit about how do you want to use this measure once created (which type of visual for example)? It would be best if you provide sample data and the expected output.
Best,
