in one of my data tables i have a coulmn that contains a title for the figure
when i draw the grpah in desktop i want to use the contents of this field to be the graph title
how can i mak ethis happen
thanks john
I believe that you should turn the title off and then I have used a multi-row card visual and just put in the specific field that you want. So, what I did was created a table with all of the different text that I wanted in their own columns and then just used the particular column that I wanted to display as text. My OSU-Showcase PBIX file shows an example of it.
Thanks for the tip. I already do this, but it is a feature which is present in many other BI systems that the title, unit axis, etc can be the contents of a field. This seems not to be thecase in powerbi?
Hi @docjohn,
I think that this feature isn't still present in PowerBi. I suggest you to post this like an idea.
p.s. For now what @Greg_Deckler tolds you it's a great solution.
